Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide and selective agonist of the growth-hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a, the ghrelin receptor). Published preclinical work characterises it as one of the most selective GH secretagogues: it drives pulsatile growth-hormone release from the anterior pituitary while, unlike earlier GHRPs, showing little to no increase in cortisol, ACTH or prolactin in research models. It is frequently studied alongside a GHRH analog such as CJC-1295 to combine a GHRH signal with a GHS-R1a signal. Supplied lyophilised, 10mg per vial. For research use only.
