Anti-inflammatory tripeptide derived from alpha-MSH (α-MSH 11-13). Studied for inhibition of NF-κB signalling in gut and immune research models.
KPV (Lysine-Proline-Valine) is a tripeptide fragment of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH 11-13). Independent literature characterises KPV as a PepT1-mediated cellular signalling research tool. Once internalised, KPV is associated in published preclinical work with downregulation of NF-κB nuclear translocation, attenuated TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 secretion under inflammatory challenge, and reduced disease activity scores in chemically induced colitis models. The compound has been investigated across oral, topical, transdermal, and rectal delivery routes in research animals. For research use only. Not for human consumption.
